  1. RAUM 3 - A black ink and black color pencil drawing on an 11 x 14 size coquille board. It appears in the paperback. "RAUM," by Carl Sherrellt

This drawing of a knight in full charge against an evil foe is representative of the eternal struggle between good and bad men. If you are a student of history you are aware of the mind-boggling horrors perpetrated by evil men from the very beginning of human history. As far back into time as you care to go you will not a find a single "minute" on this earth when no one was murdered, and you will find lots of minutes when thousands were slaughtered. So, this charging knight is the symbol for anyone who finds the courage to rise and defy the evil ones. And here's another one:

"I believe that to have a friend, you must be one,

That while all men are created equal in the eyes of God, all men of
all races have choices to make for good or for evil.

That everyone has the power within themselves to make this a better world by being a good and honest person, by being prepared physically, mentally, and morally to fight when necessary for that which is right.

That our government was created by a few free men to ensure freedom for all men, and it is our duty to see that it endures.

That all things are destined for change but truth, and truth lives on forever. I believe in the goodness and greatness of God, my country, and my fellow man".
